Adam
Steyer is in his second season as an Assistant Baseball Coach for the
Bruins. For the Bruins Baseball Team, Coach Steyer’s off field
responsibilities include: Recruiting, Advance Scouting and Strength and
Conditioning. Coach Steyer’s on field responsibilities include: Infielders
and Hitters
The Omaha, NE native graduated from Millard West High School in 2001. Adam
was a standout athlete for the Millard West Wildcats High School Baseball,
Basketball and Football teams. He earned First Team All-State Honors in
Baseball and Second Team All-State Honors in Football. After a very
successful high school career at Millard West Adam moved on to Butler County
Community College in El Dorado, KS to play for Coach Trent Nesmith.
In 2003 while at Butler County he suffered a career ending arm injury that
jump started his coaching career back at Millard West High School. Coach
Steyer has and continues to coach Baseball, Basketball and Football at
Millard West High School since his return to Omaha in 2003. In 2006 Coach
Steyer’s under-17 American Legion Baseball Team won the Class “A” State
Tournament.
In addition to Coach Steyer’s baseball duties at Bellevue University along
with his baseball, basketball and football duties at Millard West, he in the
process of completing a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education at Bellevue
University.
